Marengo is looking pretty go so far this year, they are 4-0 right now, and this comming up friday is going to be a tough on for the Horns playing South Choctaw with a record of 4-1. One of the Horns running backs, Patrick Cannon, is having his way with the opponites defence so far, last year he rushed for over 2,000 yards, and the way things are going this year he will break his old record from last year.

Yeah Marengo is kicking some serious butt this year. I would have been keeping up with all their games too, but decided just to stick to demopolis.
Congratulations to Marengo Academy on going 6-0 and getting the #1 ranking in the state.
Hook 'em Horns! & Go Tigers! Both teams are making Marengo Co proud. Sorry if I am leaving out some teams these are just the only two I really follow.
Have to give props to John Essex as well-- Having one of their best seasons in school history.

John Essex has been doing great, but there are a lot of rumors about illegal players. I hope that isn't the case, but I believe there is an investigation at this time.

Yes Marengos recent lose is quiet upsetting, but hey its hard to beat the same team 3 times in a row also, the starting quarterback issue is under wraps and i cant tell. But for this week we have patrician at home. Hopefully the illegal player rummor at john essex is not true, Good Luck to all teams this week.
I am glad to see that many of the Marengo Co teams are doing so well. I'd also like to know who won the game between Thomasville and UMS? I never did find out. Also, the MA QB is not injured but it is a private matter... Prayers please.

Thomasville lost pretty bad to UMS if I heard correctly. Don't quote me on this, but someone told me that they lost 50 something to 20 something.

The longhorns are now 6-3 due to the resent lose to faith. The longhorns need to buckle down and get their ducks in a row if they want to go to the playoffs. They play wilcox this week at home. If the longhorns lose they might as well hang it up for the season, but there is still a way, so everyone please come out and support the horns.
I don't think they will make the playoffs.

Marengo Academy couldn't find a way to score on Friday night. The Faith defense had their number all night long. This loss brings thier 2003 record to (6-3). If they don't win this weekend, they may miss out on the playoffs all together.
