I was wondering that myself......I hope that they dont keep them out there until they're ruined. It surprised me, with the high winds we had the other day, that they were still standing.

I heard that they are trying to get the warehouses cleaned out and organized so they can store them but in the several work weekends they had planned not as many volunteers showed up as they were expecting. I think it's taking a bit longer due to lack of manpower. The COTR committee is trying to get something done as soon as possible though. They are working on it.

Thanks LucyLou, perhaps posting their work weekends on Dlive forums would help?.....so many people on this site willing to lend a helping hand, it may be more beneficial than the newspapers!

I ride by them twice a day and have been wondering why they are still there. I have even thought about starting a thread but the thought never made it home. The people that put together COTR spend way too much money on the event to let the floats sit in the elements.
