I just bought GTA for 20 bucks, planning on finishing my previous save from my cousins copy. so i get home and pop her into the good new ps2. It says "This game save is not compatible with this version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Now restarting game." Is their a way so that i dont have to start all over? i was on like the 2nd to last mission and i remember some of the missions really suck so i dont want to do them again.

I have neve had that happen to me, You would think that all the GTA San Adreas would be comaptible.

My husband said that every game has a different reading text.. Which means no 2 disc are alike...

I can take my memory card over to any of my friends house and use my profile saved. I have never had a problem just because it was a different disc.

well he had an Xbox... i dont know anything about any of these new things. I still play my regular Nintendo and Nintendo 64....

Now, buying a game console is just like buying a new computer -- just specialized only to play games.

I just can't see paying $500 on a new video game console every year or every two years.

Back to GTA San Andreas: The new "Greatest Hits" edition of the game (the one that's $20) is different. I found out about the old save games not working on this version.

I was just glad to have the game back. I let a friend borrow it and never saw it again. I went over a year without it. I LOVE the game. the environment is HUGE!!!!!! love the country / trailer park areas. All vehicles in the area are preset to the country station:

country woman dj speaking: "Now... <Make the World Go Away playing> let's make the world go away... that's what the pharmacies are fer ya know??...." the DJs on the radio stations are insannnee!

Due to the hot coffee scandal, they had to change a little so you might have to go on ebay or find someone that has it and trade with them

there was a big scandal over a cheat code that you could use and it would show nudity in the game

I didn't hear about that cheat code... I had the game for like a year and never heard about it.

Lost the game, and have greatest hits version now (san andreas)

yea it was a huge mod (not a cheat) thats why its rated AO now instead of M. But the greatest hit doesnt have it.

What do ya'll think of Bully?

It took me a while to get in the mindset of the game. I saw Rockstar productions come up... and I was ready to pop some caps in some asses.. but then you're at school... and you have a slingshot. All I wanted to do was shoot people or pull out my chainsaw.... but no guns or chainsaws....

I think it's an alright game once you get in the mindset... but if you've lived on gta III, vice city, san andreas, and then go to Bully -- you have to get used to not offing 200 people within an hour.
