What about Ellis V ? Has it been sold or leased ? Who will run it ? When will it open? Missing it. With Mr. G's and Ellis both not open we are missing a lot of good food.
They were bought out--Can't remember who off the top of my head. They were only supposed to be closed a couple of weeks for renovations.

Norbert Perret has got La Gran Fiesta and now he's got Ellis V. I think Ellis V was open at lunch today. I saw a few vehicles parked out front about 11:30am today.

Norbet is going to run Ellis V with a cuban chef who is suppose to be really good. They are in the process of redecorating the interior and changing the menu up some. It's suppose to be some of the old favorites with some new dishes added. I'm not sure of the start up date. Things are looking up.

Norbert and his partners are leasing the business (2 years with an option to buy) Originally it was told that they would have a few new dishes and a few of the old favorites. I've been told by some if the staff that the menu has completely changed with an emphasis on Pasta. We'll see. I think that Demopolis needs a little bit of a change in our restaurant scene, I just hope that they do not try to be too different and hurt themselves.

Norbert has a great place with La Gran Fiesta. I'm excited to see what he can do with Ellis V. The reopening of Mr. G's is something to really look forward to as well.

I agree wholeheartedly...
Even with all these new changes to old restuarants,we still need at least two new places to eat.
