Just wondering?What is everyones Easter Fav?I mean like food or candy?I like the marshmallow bunnies. I really like all candy and I know Wyldfire has eaten her share of "Peeps".What about everyone else?
Well...I can't eat them anymore, but there is absolutely NOTHING better than malted milk eggs. When I was pregnant with my 6 year old, I had gestational diabetes and, of course, couldn't eat any sugar. Easter was in March that year; he was born on June 6. I bought me a bag of malted milk eggs in March, hid them in my underwear drawer, and as soon as I could after June 6 I ate the whole bag!!!!!
I always loved the Cadbury Eggs. I went to this local ice cream shop last night that makes interesting homemade ice cream flavors. They had chocolate ice cream with Cadbury Eggs. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! I ate a whole bowl of that stuff.

My favorite part of easter is what it was like when i was little. dying easter eggs, making the biggest mess ever, and waking up oober early to see what the easter bunny brought us. this will be my first easter away from home. i plan on going to church with chelsey and watch ana find her eggs. maybe she'll accually get the whole concept of it!!
i miss easter. i have had to work for about the past 8 or so years so it has been that long sincei have gone to chuch on easter sunday. i always enjoyed being with my family and of coarse i love the reeses bunnies. maybe one day i can have an easter again.
As most of you know my children are grown, but, they still expect the Easter Bunny. I have doubled the number of "baskets" I do since both girls are married. This year they are not getting a basket, and I will not tell what they are getting since Wyldfire and Shooter will probably be on here before they come tomorrow. But I did make a "Bunny" cake for Wyldfire's birthday and I dyed Easter eggs this year too!I have had fun even if my kids are big!Thank you Jesus, once again You are the Only reason for the season!He is Risen!
oh,bb that makes me sad!! when you come home, i'll find you a reeses bunny. maybe they will have some on sale after easter!! i will miss you tomorrow at church but you will be in my heart. easter is always in your heart when you are saved though. luv u
I remember hunting Easter Eggs at my Nanny's church when I was a little girl. My mom made me a pale blue dress for the occasion. I had matching pale blue knee high socks. And a 'pixie' haircut with a small blue ribbon on the side. (ew!)
I remember being told the story of the Resurrection of Jesus. They rolled that big stone aside and He was Gone! He is Risen!! It was shock and awe time for me.
On the very same day as hearing the story of Jesus, I also found the one and only golden egg at Nanny's church. I turned in that egg and got a Bible and a tin 'easter bucket' full of jelly beans.
I loved coloring eggs with my cousins then and I love doing it now with my children. I decorate mine now to look like fruit.
My favorite easter candy is the Cadbury Mini Eggs. Oh mercy! So good. The malted things, too. Peeps, I hate them!
I can't figure out why these taste better than the originals. I concur though.
