This past weekend there was a break out of vandilism to Marengo Academys lockerroom, there were cases of paint stolen,2 radios, and about 500$ of football equipment, and there was also vandilism to the Linden High gym, spraypainted vulgar words on their walls, the purpitrators also spraypainted Dhs Academy on our wall. The people also stole abouch of cand drinks and bottles of water and alot of candy bars and bags of candy from Ma concession stand also. This is taking the rolling yards ordeal to far and needs to be stoped. If anyone knows anything, or anyone who done this please let me know.

This goes far beyond the yard rolling thing Clay. Best let the police department handle this. If anyone has a hot tip for LPD, drop it on'em! We'll be glad you called!
What does yard rolling have to do with the vandalism of the two schools? Is there a known connection? Was the vandalism done at the school campuses or at the Linden Athletic Field? I do know the Linden Athletic Field has had burglaries in the past. I have a hard time believing that the two incidents, tp'ing & burglaries,
are related. BUT IF THEY ARE, then they have most definately gone WAY to far. A little stay in the jail a couple of weekends would seem a good punishment for them.

Well i didnt mean that tp'ing and vandilism was the same, I was just saying that I thing that the poeple went to far on what they did and the athletic field was vandilised along with the LHS high school gym. A few weekend in jail wouldnt be long enough for as much stuff as they stole.

They actually wrote "DHS Academy"? If so, it's obvoiusly a bunch of young morons making a patheticly weak attempt to implicate someone else. Obviouisly, there is no DHS academy. This incident has nothing to do with Halloween fun. It was done during Halloween as an excuse to trash a public facility.
Forget a few weekends in jail--A few weeks maybe, full restitution and a bucket of sponges to clean up the mess left behind. Juveniles or not, their names should be released in the press along with pictures.

I would vote for him. I may live 5000 miles away but i am still a registered voter in marengo county. anyone say absentee ballot
Dave can run for mayor,I want on the Chamber of Commerse.All we would need is Hitman as Chief of Police and Stickman to run the Whit and we could run this town.
Hmm-- I would rather take the Whit job-- from what I hear it pays much better:evil:

why not go ahead a combine linden and demop and lets elect dave as mayor, I like the way dave thinks on this topic here.

I said a few weekends b\c if it is juvys that is about all they can
get and they probably won't get that. Everyone knows that there isn't a DHS Academy even tho I have heard WAPT called that. But they were also vandalized lately, weren't they?

`but still i think that a few weekends aint enough, if they big enough to make the mess they big enough to pay the price.
