all the crap on the al.com forum about the dhs/ums game. It really shows how rich, spoiled adults act when they don't get their way and they don't have the power or authority to fix it. It is kind of funny to sit there and read all of the bull---- excuses.

And please, if there are any cops that read this, put an officer over on the visitors sideline to stop all the "pot smokers and purse snatchers". That way Trinity can get on al.com next week and let them know that there was no problem, or if there was one that we took care of it.

And to the refs, we know that y'all are not from here but rather assigned to us, don't do us any "favors" this time. Don't wait until the other team is in the endzone to throw that flag.

I would like to say that I feel sorry for the ums players because you can't pick your family members.

If you have not been to this website or if you need a good laugh I suggest going there.

There was one phrase that I really liked; excuses are like *****holes, everybody has one and they usually stink!!!
:D  :D

I read about the pot smoking. As far as flags go, Demopolis finally got a fair shake with the refs.

I'll personally walk over at some point during the game this Friday and check for myself (pot smoking). If that was true, it's embarassing to the town and I'll notify the cops personally. If it's not, then it's just some spoiled parents too used to winning football games. I don't think anyone can argue against the fact that Demopolis was the better team on that field.

Our game had people from Choctaw, Greene, Sumter, and many other surrounding counties. I saw lettermen jackets from almost every school we played plus some. IF what they are saying is true, my guess is that these people were not Demopolis fans. If they were DHS fans, they would be on the fence on the north end where all the other rough crowd hangs out. We do have a crowd that uses 'colorful' language and are usually 3 sheets in the wind. They have been overlooked since we moved here and I don't see it changing now. But to be honest, every town has a crowd just like them. I would bet that those were not our students.

"I am a player on the UMS team, and I am quite embarrased for my school. I hate when people attract attention away from the team who played hard all year, and was still quite succesful. Although we did not win state, we only lost two games and made to the tird round. Please just drop the arguments becasue we got beat simplke as that-- not the refs nor dope. Thanks Demopolis for showing great sportsmanship on the field and win state for one UMS player. " this is a post off of AL.com

I for one think that it is mostly sore losers. No one in Mobile thought that UMS would lose to a bunch of poor folks from demopolis

I have heard that Mr. Roberts called and talked to the principal at UMS-Wright and that the principal neither saw or smelled any pot!
So that pretty much sums it up, SORE LOSERS!
Also saw where the running back,#3, was on that forum and was embarassed because of the way the adults were acting.

What a lesson we adults have to learn from kids sometimes!:dunno:
