It's about time they decided to do something like this.I think if they had a good turnout that Trinity would start to wonder what they were about to get into.Go out there and get LOUD!!!

The cheerleaders (Varsity and JV) tailgated last year in the New Era parking lot before the UMS game, and we had loads of fun. I hope there will be even more people at this tailgate party. However, DOPE SMOKERS, whoever you are, STAY HOME! We don't want you at our games or our tailgate parties! Sorry, the teacher in me is surfacing.
The band is also tailgating Friday night in the practice field.
We need to remember that they are a HUGE part of the atmosphere and school spirit at our games, so encourage them, as well. They played all the way through their normal 3rd quarter break last Friday night, and we could all tell the difference in the noise and spirit level of the second half. Mr. Bonds told me that they will do the same this Friday night. Several people have commented that they noticed the band's good effort Friday night.
Go River City Blue, and Go Tigers!!

Special Message for my Tigers:
#2, #3, #8, #9, #10, #11, #13, #20, #21, #30, #53, #60, #70, and Matthew(sorry, Matt--I can't read your number in the picture)

Do it again this week! You all have GREAT potential and you have conducted yourselves with class all the way through the season. What 's even better is that MOST of you have done your homework and kept your grades up. :) I'm cheering for you most of all, and I'm proud of you. Take us to Birmingham!

This is a great idea-- You're gonna have to get there at least 2 hours early anyway if you expect to park anywhere near the field. Might as well enjoy the wait.

They could even set up something as a fundraiser, like selling spirit buttons or ribbons,or hot dogs.

I also know that the cheerleaders are planning on adding a little "pep" to the intimidation of the tunnel (so strange...I have never thought of that tunnel from a visiting team's perspective), so a HUGE crowd of Tiger fans would really be great!
