Demopolis will be featured in a two hour special program on December 18, 2003 at 9 PM Eastern Time.The title of the program is "Ultimate Holiday Town USA". About 20 towns accross the USA will be featured Christmas On The River events such as the day
parade Bar-B-Que cook-off, and the night river parade should be the main topics

The bad thing is that they decided to come down here of COTR after everything started going downhill.Why couldn't they have come 10 years ago,when it used to be so packed that you almost had to park at McDonald's and walk to the park beacause of the traffic?
10 years ago the Chamber and others in charge of COTR did things to try and pack in the crowds. Lately they've depended on folks just coming simply because it's COTR. Hopefully this show will get the word out past our borders that we're stil kickin down here,
We're going to attempt to get the show captured on the PC, at least the parts where we're mentioned anyway. Hopefully, if it works out correctly, we'll have something you can download and watch in case you didn't tape the show.
