Redneck weekend is just what I need!

DukeFest will be held June 3rd and 4th....at the the Nashville Speedway.
All the original cast will be on hand and also the original stunt people will put on a stunt show....I feel like a kid on Christmas eve.....I won't be able to sleep tonite..lol
Kids will get in free...and tickets are only 30 bucks for adults for the whole week end.....sounds like a bargain to me...
I just had to share....so enuff small talk....I'm off to finish pack'n....I hope everyone has a great weekend....Oh yeah.. we plan to take lots of pictures....

Had a GREAT TIME!!!!..at "DUKEFEST!!!"
Got to see the old gang live..and sing'n...Good 'ol boys.....
I bet there was 60 or 70 General Lees all in a row.....Told Theresa, don't be surprised if some'n around the house gets painted orange and gets an 01 slapped on it...when we get home....lol
We saw a lawn mower race....one was clocked at 85 mph.
We saw 2 Rocoe cars get flipped...and best of all....we saw a General Lee...fly thru the air...(a new record)...202 feet.
as far as time not being kind....to Daisy..I gotta say....she was nice to the people...and she still had a pretty good voice.....
I'm sure alot of girls there were dressed like the old Daisy...with the shorts and all....but I wouldn't know....lol....(whistle'n innnocently)
We had perfect weather.....only a shower that lasted bout 10 minutes....thats equal to one ice cream cone...in Festival time...lol
I gotta say.....being its just up the road....everyone should check it out next year....
