You might want to check with the vet's office. I know there are some other long haired chi's in town. I met a guy briefly when I first got Chi Chi that mentioned he was going to t'town to pick up a male long haired chihuahua for his wife. Boy I wish I had gotten his name and number then! Just didn't think fast enough on my feet.
Let me know if ya find one...Is a girl or boy have better disposition???
I just wanted to say that I always thought Chi (sp?) were hyper, irritating little ankle biters UNTIL........ I got to meet Papa2's "Beamer" and that's just the absolute SWEETEST, most PRECIOUS little thing I've ever seen!!!(ahem...nothing like her name's sake! LOL! Love ya Moonbeam, mean it!!) Soooo........opinion changed.

The long haired chihuahua's aren't near as hyper and much more friendly than the short haired breed. My father has had several short hair ones and they all were very much one person dogs and very nippy to anyone else. Chi Chi isn't like that at all. She'll bark when she first sees a stranger but if you talk to her sweet she's putty in your hands. LOL She's the most loving little dog I've ever owned.

I don't think the vet is going to give up information like that. .. Will they?

They have always given me the info. that I've always wanted or needed. (As the vet would probably tell you) I wouldnt be in too much of a rush to get the dog bred....You might outta do a lil research on the "pre-sires" history or you may run into medical or behavior problems in those cute lil puppies that you hope to have. Just make your future breeding worth while.
IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR--SHE CRIED MORE, MORE, MORE........WITH A REBEL YELL--SHE CRIED MORE, MORE, MORE!!!
-giggles- It's not me who is breeding. Mine is a male but it's her brother. It's my mother who wants to. Minnie will be reaching her second heat sometime in November, so we calculated, and she was truly hoping to have just one litter before she gets her fixed.
