Country Showdown!

Has anyone heard who won the Country Showndown last night?
I know that there were a few people from Demopolis in it!

The first place winner was a guy named Chris Graham. He was really good. The two songs that he sang were his own. He did have an advantage over the others because he has released his own CD. He won the $2500 first place prize and now moves on to the state competition. There were several people from our area competing inclulding our very own Philly2. She was great. I think she was the best out of all the female performers and should have gotten in the top three. BTW - there were 3 male performers and they were the top three. I dont know why except that they did perform original music, But Philly2 did an excellent job.

Philly2 you should put a video of you on here so we can all see and hear your sweet voice. Congrats on being a part of the Country Showdown. That makes you a winner in itself. God Bless you. Don't forget the video for all of us that want to hear you and live too far away to come see you.

thanks yall... i will have to say.. it was fun, but something wasnt right bc the 2nd and 3rd place winners were NOT the best!! but i guess being that they all had already recorded their own songs...that put them on top.. who knows. but i really think that they should have a separate showdown for the ones that already have a cd and for the amateurs like us. i thought the showdown was for the ones who were wanting to make it to that step, not for the ones who are already there. but ANYWHOO... it was fun! thanks mustang for the support!!
