I usually go to the store and buy items... But I have bought 2 items off of Ebay ..... I had been looking for more tongue rings and they are expensive when you go out and buy them at stores so I puchased a lot of 50 off Ebay for $14.00... If I had gone to a store and bought them I would have paid about $5.00-$10.00 a peice for them.....

Would OTHER include stealing, borrowing with no intention of returning or telling FEMA that the hurricane blew it away? I know some people that use these methods.

I've been doing alot of my shopping online since we moved to the "boonies". I figured any shipping I have to pay can't be more than the gas I'd use driving. I also learned alot of places give you discounts when you order online.

Also, I'm "slightly" addicted to Ebay and Amazon!!!

(Don't get me wrong, I still love shopping at Super Walmart at 12:00 in the morning and love my flea markets!!!!)

We buy what we cant find in demopolis because it saves us money not having to drive out of town and most of the time we buy from ebay.

Working a swing-shift, I buy 80% of stuff on line. Just a few clicks and it's on your door step. A lot of places offer free shipping most of the time. But I still love the mall when I get a chance.

Depends on what I'm shopping for. Some things I would never buy on line and others I would never NOT buy on line. You can find things a lot cheaper than retail if ya know where to look sometimes. I'm an ebay addict and adore amazon. I also have a few other on line only boutiques that I frequent.

Most things I buy I get online, but I still had to choose in-store.

I don't do much online shopping anymore, but the internet is dangerous -- shopping on there is very addictive and you can make some really stupid impulse buys.

Favorite sites: ebay & amazon.com

I was actually able to get most of my Beatles LP/vinyl collection finished through ebay. But to actually buy the last two albums - I found them in a second hand store in Nashville -- it was an AMAZING palce. I could have spent hours and hours and hours in there... they had all kinds of LPs, CDs, books, music books, etc.

I am a thrift store addict for t-shirts, books, records, music, old video games (NES, atari, PC) etc.

I began buying online several years back during the X'mas season. I had my X'mas club check in hand, but couldn't really find the time to go shopping. I just got out my list, ordered the items, they were shipped to my door & I didn't have to worry about anything. As Rockingtenn said, some places will offer you free shipping...especially during the X'mas season.

Another reason to shop online is that sometimes I can't find what I want in Tuscaloosa and/or Meridian. Internet shopping has been kind to me. And the shipping charges today is not as expensive as the gas is to go get your items.

Oh yea...I too am addicted to eBay.
If you're not living on the edge...you're taking up too much space!
