Me and Jewels had a great time ! It was a great event for our town, way to go WAP ! Thanks to all the sponsors who contributed and to all the people who put on the show ! I hope this becomes an every year event !

I never knew it was sponsered by WAP until last night when I got there. All the signs said "West Alabama Rodeo", yet never anything about West Alabama Prep. I don't think it was mentioned in the Demopolis Times either. Once we got there & everyone working the gate, booths, etc were affiliated with the school, we assumed it must have been sponsored by them. They did announce it near the end of the rodeo. Maybe it was just me, I just found that odd. The rodeo itself was good. I didn't have a whole lot of confidence that the catch pen was gonna keep those bulls off of me.

I had a great time @ the rodeo. However, I was only able to attend it Friday due to the fact that I was out of town Saturday. I hope everyone had as much fun Saturday night as I did Friday. Great job WAP! I really enjoyed it!

Maybe as everyone got a chance to see the rodeo and realized all of this was a makeshift hurridly put up arena We might can and could work towards an arena in Demopolis as there are many people here who ride and you could see this sort of thing on a more regular basis without all of the temporary lighting and all the other temporary stuff was there!!
I am all for an arena here in Demopolis an dI feel We should work towards this whole heartedly as We have kids right here in Demopolis who dont play baseball nor softball nor soccer and all of the citys money goes towards these sports and there are several very very good riders right here in Demopolis!!! So people speak to your Council Man and tell Him We need a facility such as this permantly in Demopolis!!!!!!

Yes these kids are amazing that I watch each month ride somewhere else and to think they have to say they are members of some other town when they do so but still live in Demopolis and some do say they are from Demopolis but that is only where they live not who they ride for when they go to the other shows!!! It would be great to go there saying you are from the Demopolis or Marengo Saddle Club but alas they cant as there is not one or not one that has the shows maybe trailrides they do have so speak loud and speak sternly to those elected officials here and I am going to do so Myself even though I have moved closer I still am not in the City Limits yet and cant tell them where My vote will fall when election time comes so people of Demopolis City do so and do so often!!!!!!!!!!!
