Ellis V Revisited

On Jan 20 a group of seven of us had lunch at Ellis V. A variety of dishes were ordered. I did not hear any complaints from any member of this group. Service from the wait staff was prompt and the food arrived sooner than we expected. At about 12:30 when I left, about ten diners were in the main dining room and the Kiwanis Club was meeting in one of the back rooms.

I went there Saturday night and the service was really good.

I talked with one of the co-owners last month and discussed some of the problems I heard other people have had. I've talked with other people off line and they stated the service and quality of food has improved. I believe Ellis V had a rough restart and not quite prepared to open. We may have put some pressure on them to open as soon as possible and they just were not ready. The front room wasn't even finished when they reopened. It must be getting better since the Kiwanis Club is meeting there. I know someone in the club and will ask his opinion.

I went there with some friends and we each had difffernt plates and the serveice and food was excellent. The place was pretty packed and we didnt wait too long for our food. The waitress kept our tea full and Norbert even stopped at our table and conversed with us. My friends and I were very pleased with our service and and food.
