Verdicts are in. Siegeman guilty on 7 counts of conspiracy, mail fraud and bribery.

Scrushy found guilty of 6 of those charges.

I was watching the news at 6 when they were talking about it. Like H-D Rider said they are going to appeal so don't expect this to go away anytime soon. But like all the rest of you I'm so sick of hearing this crap all the time. I wish they would just put them in jail and throw away the key, that would be what you call justice being served!!

They have wasted too much of our taxpayer money! Heck, the state could have given me a raise, or maybe some teachers or law enforcement a raise with that money, we all know they are underpaid for what they do.

Was this political payback on how Governor Hunt was removed from office? His crime, as I remember, was using campaign or innugaral funds for personal use. The Democrats on the national level have been suggesting on several issues of impeaching President Bush to pay back for the impeachment trial of Clinton. Are the Democrats going to set their sights on Governor Riley? Politics at new lows.
