I Don't think that this is a good place for me to tal about music, and music is all I feel like talking about right now. >_<

No one knows any of my bands, for they are... how should I say? Unatractive to the most people. If anyone else has an attention span longer than a gerbil on crack, and has tastes distict enough as to follow their' nose, please talk to me about ANY underground band you might have to know, but mainstream will do.

I just love Despair's Ray! I am gonna have to put Garnet on my profile eventually. Anyone knows who that is, I'll give you kudos.

I'm stuck on a Bob Dylan, Ben Harper, Led Zeppelin, and Cake mind-span right now :-p.

I have a wide variety of music interests... but I love nothing more than just a good live band... it doesn't matter if all they do is play regularly in tuscaloosa, just anyone with some talent and good song selection I enjoy.

Dude, you seem to be a little on the dark side, but that adds character. I like all kinds of music. People used to think I was on the dark side becouse I loved to listen to Nirvana (when Cobain was still alive). Now you hear their old songs on radio stations, ten years ago you never heard them on a radio station. It's hard to believe he died almost ten years ago. I also like The Doors. Morrison is way out there.

I too, like different kinds of music. My CD collection contains country, jazz, blues, rock, R & B, heavy metal. However, I find the music today very difficult to understand. The music of the 60's, 70's, and part of the 80's was simplier. You could actually understand the lyrics. To me music of the 90's took a different turn & one that will probably last for several decades, but I don't seem to enjoy it as much. There seems to be too much hatred in today's music...kinda like the society we live in. And I absolutely CANNOT stand to hear rap! Want to hear me scream...play some rap music!

I live for music! Anything from Regina Spector, Tori Amos, Everdae, Panic! at the Disco, to mainstream stuff like Cold play, SOME RAP,... okay just everything. Country annoys me tho, but I cant lie I have some on my play list.

My music depends on my mood. Pretty much like all genres, country, rock, pop, classic rock, contemporary, alternative, metal. CD's I have been wearing out lately are Green Day/Bullet in a Bible/Live from London, Nickelback/All the Right Reasons, Simple Plan/Still Not Gettin' Any.

Music is my life....I've posted in several of these threads before about my wide spreading musical tastes. Right now, besides the stuff I've always listened to, I am starting to listen to a little emo music. This music scene includes the likes of Yellowcard, to Snow Patrol, to screamo like Underoath. Yeah, its weird but I think its just a phase!

Don't worry about listening to different stuff....we all do! Talk about bands you like, someone here might like them too...You just never know!

I've tried two new things today -- Dixie Chicks _Home_ Album and Gov't Mule _Dose_ Album.

I never really gave Dixie Chicks a chance because I thought "eh... mainstream country" but I really like the Home album... very very good stuff on there. I'd never listened to Gov't Mule before either and I like a lot of the songs on this _Dose_ album also.

I've got two more albums a professor let me borrow to listen to today -- one is Bo Diddley _Hey -- Live in Concert. the other is Freddie King is a Blues Master ... that one looks interesting. But I'm gonna give both of these a listen soon.

Personally I've been in an Alice in Chains mood for the past couple of weeks. If you look at what I could fit into my profile page you would see I like to listen to all kinds of rock music
