Ravine broought by Demopolis?
I heard a rumor Demopolis just brought Ravine golf coarse? Some one told me it was in The Demopolis Times. If true, wonder how much they paid for that? More than a couple of thousand I bet!

I thought they aLready owned it and Rex was running it for them if that isnt so hmmmmmmmmm!!! Someone needs to check on this as I have been under the impression the city owned it all the time!!!

yes the city has always owned the property, rex had a lease to run the ravine and has choosen to run the course in selma....

It says in the Demopolis Times that "Demopolis took over ownership of the Ravine Golf Course effective July 1." (Not my English, should have been "will take") It also goes on to say in the article that the Parks and Recreation Department's budget was approved to be expanded by $240,000 to cover the acquisition of the Ravine.

Rex and John Hong bought what was Ocmulgee in Selma.

I think that the city might have bought back what was left of the lease. I am not sure of this. Its just what I am think happened.
