I've been married for over half my natural life, 30 years June 12 to Debby. Man I'm one blessed guy she's only been mad at me for 15 of them. I remember reading a statement by Ruth Graham when she was once asked if she had ever considered divorcing Dr. Billy Graham. Her reply was "divorce never homicide yes". I guess were in good company.

Married, and have to admit I forgot our anniversary last year. So goes the story(all true), I was sitting at a poker table and a lady asked me: "so you are married" and I answerd "yes" she asked "how long have you been married" and while I was trying to not let her distract me from the Ace high flush I was working on I thought about it and said "OH NO, OH NO it was 13 years two weeks ago. So now I am very worried, I go to work the next day and tell everybody what has happened. So the ladies start damage control for me and order flowers to be sent to her work, gets me a gift certificate for a body massage and reservations for dinner. Well I am thinking about things and it occurs that my little girl has not mentioned anything about our anniversary. Usually, she is so excited on birthdays and special events that she asked for a week what are you getting mom and ask her mother the same. So I figure the date had not been discussed at home. Well the flowers arrive at her work and her co-worker asked her what has he done now. She says he has not done anything that I had been home most every night. ( I don't know why she assumed I had done something wrong, hehe). Anyway, she asked about dates and my wife goes, OH NO OH NO our annivesary was two weeks ago. So see there ladies, I am not all that bad. To our defense we had been having health issue with my mother and I had been in and out of town trying to take care of her and it just slipped by. I think it was an honest mistake, I sure hope so.

I'm guessing that's YOUR answer.

Because on my screen Single is italicized.

I guess I'm single... I'm not married, but there was no "dating / seeing someone" option... I guess it was from a legal standpoint.
