Blue Angels at NAS Meridian

The Navy's Blue Angels will be at NAS Meridian on April 17 and 18, (Saturday and Sunday) 2004. Show times were not released. This is the closest location to the Demopolis area to view the flight demonstration in 2004.

As soon as I receive info I will post it. Usually these events are open to the public. Expect STRICT security if it is and a long line to enter the base. Will try to find out about food service available so people won't have to worry about coolers and such. Usually organizations on base serve food and drink as a fund-raiser. The less you have in your vehicle the better.

We saw the Blue Angels at Pensacola Beach a couple of years ago. It was SUPER! Our children really enjoyed it and I advise anyone who has not seen this show to go!

Recieved email from NAS Meridian PAO today.

No time set for show. They are still lining up performers.

No coolers, alcohol, weapons, bicycles, or skateboards. For safety and security reasons.

Bring ear protection, chairs, sunscreen and camera.

Food and drink will be available at the show. Usually from organizations on base and they don't try to rip you off.

Admission is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

Great activity for the family. Only about 50-60 minutes away. Allow time to arrive early for security searches and to claim a good spot. You may also park off base to avoid the crowd and see some action, but will miss some of the low level stunts.

The PAO will keep me informed and I will keep you informed.
