Marvel made a huge impact at the movies with Spiderman that came out in 2002 we have seen many other superheros come out of the woodwork to make a big hit. Such as Hulk, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Daredevil, and so on. But some of these just didn't go too well. Why? Maybe because they pushed them or maybe because the fans just didn't want them. Whatever the reason there's no doubt that some of them are great and others just were a waste. I'm a huge Marvel and DC fan. I love them all. Thats why i'm posting this. Because on February 12th "Ghost Rider" (starring Nicholas Cage) will make his first ever movie debut. I wonder how well Ghost Rider will do. To see a preview of this upcoming movie please click here (http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/ghostrider/). Plus Marvel is also releasing the third installment of Spiderman on May 4th. To see a small but exciting teaser of it click here (http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/spider-man_3/). So with many superhero movies coming out and some good ones that have just been released such as "Superman Returns" and "Batman Begins" that came out last year. This is what i would like to know, Which Superhero would you like to see at the big screen that hasn't made an appearance yet??? I'm sure everyone knows who my mom (wonderwoman) will say. But whats yours?

Good post James. I'm sure you'll get lots of replys on this one.

This may sound funny to most...but as a child I always like Aquaman. I remember in the early 1980's when Patrick Duffy (of Dallas fame) played the role in a TV series. I was glued to the TV each time it came on.

Although, not a superhero, what about a 2007 version of Steve Austin, The 6 million dollar Bionic Man? Or the Bionic Woman? :)

Wonder Woman....I'd like to see a good one done on a female superhero that doesn't bomb like Catwoman did. Don't worry I like the men too-I just can't think of one at this time

Not to challenge your memory, but Patrick Duffy was "The Man From Atlantis", not Aquaman. :)

And with inflation, Steve would cost approximately 18.8 million today.

The original 1970's Ghost Rider was the MAN! Black-leather-clad chopper rider with a flaming frickin' skull for a head!?! Made that pansy Silver Surfer look weak by comparison.

Thanks Leagle...you're right. I remember now that you've jogged my memory. I wondered why he couldn't talk to the fish? Anyway...I still think it would be cool to bring them to the big screen.

After all, Hollywood has brought sitcoms to the big screen...why not comic hero's? I know I can think of several now. I'll check back & see who people list.

Great Post Son.... My choice is is also WONDER WOMAN!!! But please make it right and not crap like they have done to some of the Superhero movies.. With all the special effects that are available now, I believe that with the right script and the right actress.. Wonder Woman could be the best yet.

I loved Lynda Carter....maybe she could be in the remake in another role. Hmmmmm.....Alyssa Milano in the lead?

I do remember Man from Atlantis. I tried to recreate that odd swimming manuever many times. Failed miserably each time.
