I like a little snow occasionally, but not on top of all the flooding. Snow would be nothing but a mess right now. I usually hope it will snow, but I hope it does not this time.

i don't think we will get any snow. maybe north alabama. I am with Roxanne, it would be a mess with all the flooding. we will have to wait and see

just one of the reasons I moved to Florida.... NO SNOW!!!!
but man, everywhere I go, people ask me where I am from because of my Southern accent. Guess you can take the girl out of Alabama, but you can't take the Alabama out of the girl. and to tell you the truth, I wouldn't have it any other way!!!

LOL-- Florida is farther "South" than Alabama, yet the accents there are muich different that their northern brethren.

What I find amusing is, when someone (usually a girl for whatever reason) goes off to college at Auburn or Alabama from here, then gets back on Christmas break talking like he/she has lived in California all their life.

I look at southern slang and speech like I do "ebonics"--After a certain point, you have to try and sound like that. You can tell someone who's trying way too hard to sound "southern".
