those bottom 3 -- john mayer & sheryl crow should be really good,

and Eric Clapton... can't miss that either... I better start saving some money... or get my credit card out.

sometimes you just have to suck it up... embrace your youth and sneak out of work just early enough to get to the show.... get to the concert.... watch the concert... recover from your inebriation after the show at waffle house at midnight... and then make your way home... and get up & ready for work or class the next day :-)
done it many times... you might feel like poopie s*** the next day, but usually you realize it's worth it.
I might have to do the above to go see Clapton... it's on a wednesday night :-( And I have a late wednesday night class on 10/18.... but I'm going! And I'll have to do the same with Sheryl Crow & John Mayer... monday night.... class early tuesday morning. but I think those two together.. (if they do perform together at least once or twice would be really great.) I like both of them a lot.
Now I just have to find someway to make the money to pay for THREE concerts.... *sigh*

yeah they're playing tonight... unfortunately I got that information a little too late.
I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd on the quad at UA in Tuscaloosa 2-3 years ago for the homecoming concert... they were great!
