Didn't know if anyone saw anything on this yet, but tropical depression number 3 has formed in the Atlantic. Looks like it may form into a tropical storm very soon with all the warm water it is crossing now. Doesn't look like it is heading for the Gulf, but who knows with a hurricane. http://www.weather.com/newscenter/tr...ricane_welcome

Maybe this will make the weather people's day. It seems like all I heard about before hurricane season started was how this year would be even worse than last year....it almost seems like they want it to be!
What are you going to do today, Napoleon?
Whatever I feel like I want to do! Gosh!
Please no hurricanes for us this year. Just thinking about the name.We have a grandson Chris, that name might mean that it will be a rough one. LOL Just heard on news, that it might go toward the tip of Florida. Hope it just fades away.

Yep...so much for us humans claiming to understand the weather!!!
Oh how we danced and we swallowed the nights for it was all ripe for dreaming
Oh how we danced away all of the lights we've always been out of our minds
Tropical Storm Chris now! Looking like an east coast storm, but may come into the gulf. We need a cold front bad to move across the U.S. to push it eastward more!!! The link is for the projected path. There is a menu to the right of the map...just click projected path. http://www.weather.com/newscenter/tr...ricane_welcome

With any luck, it won't get much stronger and it'll come right for us. The hurricanes helped us quite a bit last year as we didn't get much rain that wasn't hurricane related then either. We need the rain bad.

This one is looking more like a hurricane every hour. The eye is becoming more defined, and it isn't looking good for south Florida. Looks like this one might get into the gulf too. Hopefully it will fizzle out before it gets to the more populated islands. Winds are at 60mph and pressure is at 1003mb. The pressure has only dropped slightly in the the past 24 hours, so maybe it won't stengthen that much more. Let's all start praying now......just to beat the rush! http://www.weather.com/maps/news/atl...ack_large.html
